My first kitty died

My first kitty, who lived with my mom in Carson City for the past 18 years, had to be put down today. She wasn’t eating and had gotten really skinny.

I don’t even have a digital picture of her to post. :(

My mom still has 4 cats, but now she is one kitty less. *sigh*.

2h15m until ZG. I’m gonna need to start drinking before I even head out.

Some direction

It looks like my parents are coming up this weekend to check out my new place. I have everything pretty much clean, or at a point where I could quickly clean up any little messes. I’m totally digging having a bed to lay on and a sofa to slack on. It makes coming home much nicer.

Tomorrow is ZG night, er… well, L13 night this time around. My southbay friend Nathan says he likes L13 more (I think his gf likes it more, actually), so we’ll give L13 a shot. It takes me about 2 minutes to get there if Muni Metro is working properly, so it is actually easier for me to get there. Booze anyone? Remember that they don’t serve food there, so no yummy burgers. 8pm.

I’m feeling a much better, thanks for all the positive comments. Sometimes I feel like the world is just doomed, and it doesn’t matter if it is actually doomed or not, but rather it matters that I move forward in some direction. Sometimes at work I sit idle and lost, and that’s when the doom settles back in.

Zombies attack San Francisco!!!

I was on my way to return some items to CompUSA, when I noticed folks standing about Market Street with duct tape “X” symbols on them. “What could that mean?” I thought. I took a photo just in case it was a new fad.

A couple sporting duct tape

The Powell cable car turn around became very silent, perhaps eerily so. Little did I know that such markings meant that they were the next to be attacked by zombies!
