I tried to vote. I am most interested in gardening instead of grocery shopping. Weve also stopped going to the video store and have NetFlix deliver. I've asked mom for a copy of a money saving magazine she talked about so I can get more ideas. It seems like saving money and recycling go hand in hand. Next time you're down, we'll go to the St. Louis City Museum. The stuff they recycled is not what you think of (airplanes, buses, walls of soda bottles) but gets the point across to the young masses.

The recycling trash truck comes by, but we have been remiss in recycling in the blue bags that are required. We'll have to get back into that. Both of our cars are recycled (he he) and all of our bikes, except the kids, are recycled from the auction. About 50% of our furniture is recycled. Most of the recycling comes from lack of funds, but hey, no guilt for reselling or giving it away!
